Review

The U9A team had a mixed season, finishing mid table in division 1. In the cup and tournaments we faired much better. Our cup run included wins against the top two in division 1, before we lost an exciting cup quarter final against Matthiola on penalties.

Our best success came with a great win in the Woolston Under 9 tournament in June. We went through the tournament undefeated, winning the final 2-0 against Appleton.

Another first for the team, was a weekend trip away to compete in the Prestatyn tournament in North Wales. We came runners up in this, losing the final on penalties against De La Salle.
