Thank you for all those parents and supporters who came along to the club race evening event at Hollins Park on Friday 21st November. Pictures to follow in the week.

A big thank you to ASDA for sponsoring the raffle star prize - a 19" flat screen TV/DVD combo.

Jason Gouk and Gary Biddle will be celebrating in style tonight after passing their FA Level 2 courses after 6 hard months on their course.

Respect

Many thanks to the FA for supporting the club at this years Winwick Carnival. They ran a number of skills sessions including one in the main arena.

FA Skills

Also many thanks to the players, coaches and supporters from Winwick, Fife, Woolston, Crosfields and Eagle for supporting the Under 9's mini tournament we held on the day. Fife won a tense final on penalties against Eagle.

Congratulations to our Club Secretary Paul McMahon who won FA National Workforce Award 2008 for his services to Grassroots Football

Paul received his award at Wembley on 10th August at the Community Shield game between Man Utd and Portsmouth.

Paul Wembley

Well done Paul. A fantastic achievement.

Check out the new club honours page. If we've missed something from past seasons let us know.

The FA have spent the last 12 months asking many people from all levels of the game what they want from The FA, and the Vision reflects the feedback they have received.

Please click here to download an electronic copy of The FA Vision document.

Thanks to those coaches and parents who've sent in match reports, photos and information about their teams at WAFC. Keep them coming- it all helps to keep the site updated and more interesting for visitors.
