Many many thanks to CCF for coming up trumps for our KIDS after SMOOTH RADIO 100.4 FM stepped in with their superb Radio Appeal. Brendan O'Connell's Company, CCF Connolly Construction Facilities, who are working on the prestigious Media City project at the moment in Manchester, and are based in Burnley, and have generously committed to pay for the two 49-seater coaches to WEMBLEY on Thursday 6th August. Absolutely SUPERB CCF !!! So now we can let our kids PLAY ON THE PITCH AT WEMBLEY. As an ex-Professsional Footballer, Brendan totally appreciates what this means to our excited U10s

These fabulous Club Events and Presentations all follow our FA National Club of the Year Award. This first trip to Wembley is where our U10s players will be PLAYING ON THE PITCH at WEMBLEY STADIUM on Thursday 6th August and we expect to transport around 90 excited people down to Wembley. We will be leaving Winwick at around 4.30am and are expected to return late at night, around 10.30pm, but what a fantastic trip this will be. If you can help with support in any way then please contact our Club Chairman, Brian Cookson, on 07908 757 349 who is co-ordinating this first trip for the Club.
Amazingly our 2nd Event to Wembley will take place a matter of a few weeks later on Saturday 5th September when we will be presented with our NATIONAL FA CLUB AWARD at the England v Slovenia Friendly International Match (kick-off 5.30pm). Once again we expect a tremendous level of support from within the Club at this event and we are therefore calling for sponsors to come forward to partially subsidise the cost of those travel arrangements so that many of the children who play for this Club can get to see England play as well as the Club receive this award. To be able to represent Winwick, Warrington and the North West in general at this prestgious event is a great honour
